VISIT MONFERRATo IN A DAY FROM TURIN
Just on the other side of the hills that are surrounding Turin’s southside, begins Montferrat. With its fields and its beautiful villages, Montferrat is one of those areas not so popular, but absolutely astonishing.
There are 2 ways to reach Superga from Turin, one is easy and panoramic and the other is the more difficult, a shortcut narrow street from Sassi. The GI cycled there for nearly a week, every day in a round trip from Turin. I visited most of the villages and tried different routes, the tour I’m sharing here with you is the one that connects what I’ve liked most. Villages like Castelnuovo Don Bosco, Moncucco, Cinzano worth a stop. Streets like the one that goes from Castelnuovo to Albugnano and from Cinzano to Gassino, are just perfect narrow roads for cyclists.
